alphaviki: (Better name pending) Basically this role is born out of the thought to have more of a variety in ua roles. The issue is that I am osciliating between the role being interesting and it being too hard/boring/bad, but I decided to share it anyway. Basically this role is an unaligned player who may stay every phase at a different person, similar to a hooker, just for every phase. And similarly to hooker, if their target gets attacked, so do they. But during the day this means if their target gets lynched, they die (basically ride or die). The goal is to have stayed at every single alive player. Once that happens, they ascend at the end of the phase (after attacks and lynch).

Basically the quirks of this are:

  • They will have no allegiance and will try to vote non-visited players out, independent of their alignment
  • A good fakeclaim role -> explains weird votes during lynch
  • Because of the difference goals, they can be an asset to both teams
  • The player either wins, by surviving until the end and staying with the last few players, but because of their nature, they still might switch sides; or by setting kills and lynches up in a way that they ascend mid-game
  • They are a bad kill or lynch since they are less of a problem than actual wolves or solos
  • Even if they claim publically, they can be counterclaimed by wolves or solos

  • Maybe a power to gain additional votes? -> Problem: confirmability

more 1) no clear wincon (thief had this issue of a double wincon imo) 2) possible kingmaker (ua ascend to prevent them lasting until endgame and voting with a team) 3) seems more townsided (more chance of visiting a townie so more likely to vote out evils)

DW unaligned and solo are the hardest to make for, because they all require a new win condition
