captainluffy: this could also happen when we update the descriptions of every ability type
mctsts: <@&1045732542399131769> remove triple targeting in favor of normal single person targeting
pros: makes role much simpler
cons: much increased chance of accidentally causing the amulet to shatter by passing to somebody who already had it

is it already end night?
mctsts: its end day
mctsts:
When passing the amulet, up to three players may be specified (either at once or separately) and the amulet will be passed to the first player who has not previously had the amulet. Selecting a target is an immediate effect and, should the selection fail, the holder is immediately informed (and if applicable, the next selection is attempted). However, passing the amulet is an end-day ability.
e_thsn: they can always change it I guess
venomousbirds: whats triple targeting
e_thsn: and town will kinda try to track who had it
venomousbirds: what
mctsts: read the quoted paragraph
mctsts: they select three targets
mctsts: and it passes to the first which it can pass to
venomousbirds: whats wrong withthat
mctsts: complicated
mctsts: and was confusing
e_thsn: ah so we make selecting a target end day too?
venomousbirds: i think its fine
mctsts:
ah so we make selecting a target end day too?
yes
venomousbirds: adds a bit of mystery to it
venomousbirds: otherwise its just another targeting
venomousbirds: i think having unique roles like this keeps the game interesting
venomousbirds: having roles be un-complicated sometimes works, but i dont think its got to happen to every role that seems slightly more complicated than other roles
venomousbirds: i think choosing 3 people is a cool mechanic that we should embrace instead of remove
mctsts: Change Rejected
mctsts: resolved: no change
mctsts: <@234474456624529410> do you wish to develop this role for v17?
captainluffy: U can close it
mctsts: completely?
captainluffy: Yea not that interested anymore
mctsts: done
mctsts: in v17 no roles are immune to obstructions anymore, reflect this change in plain text descriptions
