the8thsoul: Expel those who rely on that blasted magic! Twice per game, during the day, may target another player. If that player has a role that emits magic, they will die. Upon successfully killing another player, you will publicly reveal yourself. Upon failure, nothing will happen (only you will learn that they are not a magic user).

Roles that use magic: Cursed Civilian Fortune Apprentice The Cult (Cult Member, Cult Acolyte etc.) Exorcist Medium Aura Teller Crowd Seeker Fortune Teller Oracle Witch Amulet Crafter ALL WW ROLES (including WWW) The Hags

shapechange: i think the list/magic-user definition is too arbitrary

shapechange: as it is it also excludes a lot of roles that seemingly have magical flavour (basically every solo, angel, a few other town roles like priest)

shapechange: it's not a delineation with a basis in mechanics, it's one with a basis in flavour, and that should be avoided

We once had 2/3 look alikes become vampire with 2 vamp already
