shapechange: medium used to have names on the polls - this was extremely overpowered, as it meant you could easily gather what the answer to a question was, regardless of who else voted. medium is meant to sometimes give ambiguous answers, or answers that can't be understood immediately. it fulfils two goals: being a somewhat tricky, but generally doable claim for scum, and supporting info-gathering without being a full TI in itself. it does these both pretty well. the fact that it's not as strong a role as many others isn't just not a problem, it's actively part of the niche it fills.

shapechange: for the same reasons, having double questions is a bad idea because it makes the role a whole lot less fakeable.

shapechange: medium as a role is absolutely fine as it is, it's arguably one of the best balanced roles in the game which can make for some really interesting claims.
