venomousbirds: putting the explanation here too If the corrupt wolf (or any of their teammates) want to vote with town on a pool to hang a hag without wronging the hag faction, they make the wolfish vote count as -1, therefore not voting to lynch the hag. Since it is not announced whose vote counted less, but it is possible to see that one vote was faked, this would lead to suspicion within the town members that voted the hag (since it would be announced that only town has wronged the hags despite the vote numbers not matching). This edge case would not work though in the case that a -1 vote still counts as a vote and the wolves end up wronging the hags as well.
