In Firefox, the privacy.resistFingerprinting preference in the about:config page will return all times for JavaScript to UTC instead of the user's local timezone. This causes the add-on to play the incorrect chime.
There should be some documentation to indicate this and a setting on the options page for the user to manually set their timezone so that they can still use the add-on with the privacy.resistFingerprinting preference enabled.
