Describe the bug It takes a while to apply the existing video scale at the start of a new video page

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Play the first video in a playlist
  2. Play the next video in the playlist
  3. It takes a while to apply the existing video scale from the previous video at the start of the video page

Expected behavior

  1. The existing video scale is applied immediately
