First of all, this is amazing work! Thank you so much! I was wondering if we could have a mode that instead of stretching the video bigger and bigger each step, if it could have an option to mirror the sides of the video at the edges. I've done some very quick mock-ups to demonstrate:

2 3

Thanks for your time, and again, wonderful plugin!

Could you explain why you would want this effect? Maybe with a mockup that compares the current vs the mirrored situation? Because I'm guessing they look almost the same once the blur effect is applied.

Sure. I just find that sometimes the harsh angles caused by the zoomed layers can become distracting (of course, much better than pillarboxes though). 1

so my thought with having a mirror option would be beneficial for some scenes such as: 2 3

What would you expect to happen at the corners? Or have you disabled the top and bottom directions?

CasketPizza commented 3 months ago

I didn't consider that. Personally I love using your extension to fill the width of an ultra wide monitor (21:9)

Hmm, then I think a feature to set the horizontal and vertical spread settings separately might be more what you are looking for?

It would look something like this without blur: image

With blur: image

With blur & fall-off shadow: image

That's looks great! 💜 thanks for your time and effort
