Ruby Warrior! #27

Do you want to have fun while improving your ability to think like a programmer? Then definitely check out Ruby Warrior!

This is an entertaining and challenging online game where you control the adventures of an 8-bit knight using only the power of Ruby!

I've worked through all 9 levels and it definitely will stretch your thinking and coding abilities. Advi Grimm of the Ruby Rogues says he's even done pairing sessions to work through (and presumably refactor) levels. There's clearly plenty of room for refactoring and advanced programming techniques once you've worked out how to "beat" any given level.

I think this would be a great intermediate pairing challenge at some future training meetup. Let me know what you think in the comments!

That sounds pretty cool! Especially to me, given my desire to use Ruby for game-making, heh.

One day at Tech Support...

Technician: "Why is the front of your computer case all melted?" Customer: "Well, I didn't have anywhere to put my incense, so I stuck it in the floppy drive and fell asleep..."
