The folks over at Ada Academy sure know how to name things. One of their "graduation projects" is Graceful Hoppers, a site "to provide a roadmap for self-directed students to learn to become web developers." It's early days, but they're already talking about Git, Imposter Syndrome and the importance of online communities.
In case the names don't ring a bell, they should. Ada Academy is named after Ada Lovelace, the woman who wrote the first computer program 100 years before computers actually existed. Graceful Hoppers is named after Rear Admiral Grace Murray Hopper, who dreamed up and built the first compiler. "Amazing Grace" is the only person in history to have both a U.S. Navy destroyer and a supercomputer named after her.
