Emoji tweaks and other cleanups for new screens

A number of tweaks and cleanups related to the new screens that @greggmiller developed

Changes

• Updated release notes
• Removed some commented code
• Small tweaks to emoji
• The Riker scale seemed to be incorrect. I've fixed it up
