Can inviscid efficiency ever be higher than 1.0?

Should inviscid efficient increase or decrease with an increasing aspect ratio. Also, what should be the shape of this relationship.

When calculating the reference area, should I multiply the span by the root chord length or some average of the root chord and the tip chord?

Do the reference parameters have to be equal to the inputted geometry of the wing in order to get consistent and realistic data?

It seems like the reference parameters need to change with respect to the changing values for aspect ratio. If they don't, it seems like the outputted values don't reflect what efficiency is actually doing as aspect ratio changes. Additionally, it is ok to just multiply the span by the root chord in order to find reference area since reference area doesn't need to be extremely precise to begin with.
