Do I need to change alpha of the free stream to vary angle of attack, or can I twist the angle of the wings to achieve this, too. Additionally, should I do both of these things at the same time?

Should the slope of the lift vs. alpha polar just be 2pi based off the assumptions of Lifting Line Theory?

Changing the angle of attack just with the free stream is more than enough. It can be accomplished with the twist of the wing, but adjusting the free stream satisfies what is needed for this question. Additionally, the slope of the lift vs. alpha polar should be 2pi for all alpha since this is the assumption made in lifting line theory.
