Description

The Game Menu is the main screen you see when you start up the game and hands a warm welcome to the great experience you are about to have.

Goals

Once this Epic is working as intended the user will able to,

• See the Intro Studio Art Splash Screen
• (Potentially) View a small movie / cutscene as the intro scene of the game
• Have access to a setting menu allowing the user to change: Graphical, Sound, Controls settings
• Be able to Start the Game
• Be able to Exit the Game

• [ ] #12 : Audio Settings
• [ ] #13 : Graphical Settigns

Timeline

• For the basics of the Menu screen such as moving scenes / starting the game, exiting the game we are able to accomplish this now.
  • Controlls, Audio, and Graphical settings can all be tackled once the bases of the game mechanics have been established, and this will be done globably as most settings must be changeable at all times. (This will be worked on over time in pieces)
  • And the arts for the Menu is highly dependent on the Art department as this will actually allow it look superb.

Prioritization / Product value

This Epic is highly required as it is the starting controll point of most sucessful products. It is the first "event" the user gets to view and holds a great impact on the users expectations.

Sure. It wasn't a subject of Sprint 1, but since you've already made a great start on a main menu prototype within just one day I think you'll do great taking on them both.

I'll assign you, but there isn't currently any stories we could to add to sprint 1. I'd like to ask you to figure out all the features, requirements and limitations first. Write your stories, and add the ones you'd like to complete this sprint to the card 😄
