Map for Luftahraan #115

I think having a map for Luftahraan would help both us and players. Thus I propose two maps are made: Firstly, a vague, basic and not very pretty map, just for developers who don't know their way around Luftahraan and the surrounding lands (like me). This should give the general shape of the area, plus any notable locations and dungeons, and can be updated as more things are added. Secondly, and probably made at the time of Luftahraan's release, A much prettier map (Tolkien style would be cool) with all locations for players to use.

This is a brilliant idea, a map like that would certainly help us all. A pretty one for promotional material is also good idea provided someone will have time to do one, I made lots of maps in photoshop in the past and thus I know it takes quite some time. But that is a plan for the far future, meanwhile the dev map is more pressing matter, so I hope someone volounteers to do it.

the idea i had for the player home is a map makers house so it would be useful for me

but on the terms of promotion, we should make an art book, filled with pictures of what we have done and commentary by the team

As Felix said, the fancy map is really just a luxury for when Luftahraan goes public. Really its just the practical map for exterior work and dungeon placement that's important at the moment, as trying to get a sense of the exterior in CK is impossible when you can only look at about 5 cells at a time.
