Main Quest 4 - Unwelcome Advice

This quest focuses on Jocien Northwode, the Sovereign's advisor, and one of the Boethiah cultists. It also has the player making enquiries into the Dwemer relic found in Quest 2. It will involve a lot of work in Luftahraan itself, and give the player a good chance to talk to NPCs about the 'revelation' that their Sovereign is a vampire.

Player will report to Kyras, their current 'boss'. He will say he's made some progress with the Dwemer artefact, thinking it may be some sort of prototype for the seal keeping Arkngzul shut. He says he needs more samples, though, and for the player to keep an eye out for them.

Kyras will tell the player to talk to Voreno. Voreno wants the player to kill Jocien Northwode, the Sovereigns advisor and a high ranking Boethiah cultist. The Boethiah cult supports and assists the Sovereign, and Voreno thinks that removing Jocien in a subtle manner will weaken the Sovereign's hold on his throne. He wants the player to talk to people around the city and gather information on Jocien's habits.

The player is free to kill Jocien at any time, but ideally they want to make it look like an accident, or that he was killed by someone else - perhaps the Soltinn. If the player tries to kill Jocien in any other way, he will immediately flee and the player will be surrounded by guards who will arrest him.

After Jocien's death, the player should return to Voreno. Voreno will thank the player and ask them to go back to Kyras to continue working on the Dwemer assignment.

Jocien can be anything you want really, but nothing particularly obnoxious or idiotic he is an advisor after all and fairly religious and sure Wheeze for Kyras and Voreno though, I'd keep them somewhat neutral in your dialogue and I might edit it later to inject more appropriate personality in but Jocien is only involved in this quest so you can make him your own

none of them really have preset personalities Voreno is probably best descriped as ruthlessly efficient but not unpleasant I wouldn't bring him on too strong though

Ok so progress is slower than a drunken slug right now so I will put some "sprints" in this thread to help me get some shit done

• Make him walk to the table
• Make him use the table
  • Kill him with the explosion Note : These are all on the making its just that I was doing a little bit of everyone of these when working meaning progress in these task was minimal to none for each session. With this list, I'll be able to focus on one thing at a time and hopefully get things done quicker and more efficitently
