(or Oracle but QGIS dropped support for that.)

It would be nice if the plugin would support other spatial DBMS apart from PostGIS. QGIS supports MS-SQL and SAP HANA at the moment.

Wish from the QGIS User Conference 2023.

We do not plan to pursue anything towards these proprietary systems unless funded.

Pull requests will be highly welcome of course. :)
