Sorry for the confusion. It turns out the BUILTIN/eve_biome map is correct but had new colour values, probably for the KerbNet display. That map is much better. Once I found those values using the KSP Wiki biome map, it worked out.

I'm still missing a couple of biomes: Craters and Akatuski Lake, because the colours in the KSP Wiki are too close a match to other biomes, but this is a start.

Another biome fix is coming, as I discover kittopia-dumps. That included all of the biome information read from the stock game using the kittopia editor for Kopernicus. So I'll close this one and submit a fresh one.
