Previously posted problem persists, please provide palliative procedure.
I get the same issue in Home mode, with KerbalEDU 1.4.5. I speculate we seem to be having trouble with Kopernicus/Modular Flight Integrator with the SLIPPIST 0.7.2 release. I posted some comparison log excerpts at the SLIPPIST KSP forum page...I can dig more, if you have some ideas. Thanks!
The exoplanet mode definitely doesn't work. So I've just removed it entirely for the next release. As for using KerbalEDU on 1.4.5, @Growflavor, I'm not sure what the problem is, I'll have to take a look some time. After I release the upcoming Whirligig World update soon I'll go back to Seven Worlds of SLIPPIST-1 and hopefully get a new update and take a look at what I can do for the Kerbal EDU thing.
Thanks for the status info! I also could not get SLIPPIST-1 0.7.0 (download from spacedock) to load in KSP 1.6.1 (I get this same message). Will also try 0.7.2 once Kopernicus support KSP 1.7.2 since I did not download KSP 1.7.0 or 1.7.1 before PD/Squad changed the download links to 1.7.2 Since it looks like lots of commits between 0.6.0 & 0.7.0+,, for now, I will stay with the working 0.6.0 until you make changes, then will retest & continue to add relevant screenshots & comments to this album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/K8oyB7eseuNR6buS9 Also, I added a comment to pre-release 0.7.0 showing the location of the missing close bracket causing some curves not to be applied/loaded for the 1e atmosphere in 0.6.0+ note: We are enjoying science mode with 0.6.0 (slippist, principia, RO etc, .. so I see overtime it may be useful for me to adjust some of the science values you added since egg appears to only apply scaling in his configs for conversion to Trappist1 but is still insightful & fun as is :-). Thanks again for this great mod & astro lesson!
I also experience this bug. Clean install of KSP 1.7.1, Kopernicus 1.7.1-5, tried SLIPPIST 0.7.2, 0.7.0 and 0.4.0. All settings default, didn't try exoplanet configuration, just home
When the setting SystemPlacement = Exoplanet is set, the following error is thrown at the title screen:
"Kopernicus was not able to load the custom planetary system due to an exception in the loading process."
