WhirligigWorld is a mod which moves the Kerbal Space Center to the equator of Mesbin, a rapidly spinning supermassive airless planet. The solar system is also completely rebuilt, turning it into the Kaywell/Gememma binary star system.
Mesbin's shape as an oblate spheroid is unrealistic for a KSP body, which has all of its mass concentrated in the center. The shape should be a lens shape of some kind, but as the specific dynamics and forces are very complex, actually finding the correct shape is extremely difficult.
In addition, even if the shape were altered to provide level terrain, the game would always depict a slope where there is in reality none. (except at the poles and equator)
The shape may be somewhat more accurate to a level equilibrium when principia's gravity model is used to make Mesbin's gravity field oblate.
