[Bug]: Cannot install VatSys #655

Closed BokBoy closed 7 months ago

BokBoy commented 7 months ago

Description

Hey guys, continuing from #654, where I mentioned another issue I was creating, I cannot seem to install VatSys, saying that VatSys cannot be installed on the following Windows versions: Lists Windows versions, excluding 8.1, 10 and 11. I'm running a Windows 10 from Wine.

Info - VatSys is the VATSIM Pacific Australia (VATPAC) supported Virtual ATC application. I am trying to install it to observe ATC.

Steps to reproduce

Download VatSys (https://virtualairtrafficsystem.com/downloads/)(latest version). Run the dotnet48 command in winetricks. After complete, try install MSI file. Comes with the error that it cannot be installed.

Expected behaviour

Install then work like normal.

Yo guys, fixed it. Turns out, even if Bottle Configuration was set to Windows 10, it said in the wine configuration it still said Windows Vista. Don't worry, its probably my fault. Thx.
