[Bug]:Paradox Launcher V.2 won't install #700

Description

Paradox Launcher V.2 won't install due this error?

Steps to reproduce

create bottle download Paradox Launcher V.2 from installParadox Launcher V.2 into the bottle

Expected behaviour

Paradox Launcher V.2 should install without display any errors

This worked for me https://github.com/manolz1/cities2-gptk-fix I was able to launch the game without needing to install the launcher manually after.

I have problems installing the launcher as well.

I followed the instructions both here: https://github.com/Whisky-App/Whisky/wiki/Game-Support#cities-skylines-2 and here: https://github.com/manolz1/cities2-gptk-fix?tab=readme-ov-file#instructions-for-use

But I get a similar issue: JJP9n67w

How did you launch the game? When I launch it from Steam or directly from Whiskey, it wants to istall the launcher first.

You need to follow the instructions in the Game Support wiki.

How did you launch the game? When I launch it from Steam or directly from Whiskey, it wants to istall the launcher first.

You have to install the game from Steam, then run the game from Steam as well, which opens the launcher. You can't run cities on it's own without going through the launcher first.

As I said. I followed the guide, and also tried it a second time with a new bottle. Both times the same result. When I start the game, either directly or through steam, it want to install the launcher, but that install fails.
