Hi, I have currently the same issue with the sound.

Notably difference is, I don't play with steam, I used the direct download from the Warframe website.

zvenv0 commented 1 month ago

do you happen to be using a base M1 mac? I did a little digging and found it could be my specs bottlenecking the game even though my game runs pretty smooth and hovers around 50-60 fps. Another thing I found said something about sound preferences on windows but I don't know how to change those on wine

adrian-goe commented 1 month ago

It's an m1 pro with 32 GB Ram and macos 14.4.1

I fond this comment https://github.com/Whisky-App/Whisky/issues/637#issuecomment-1826386603 and installed dsound, unfortunatly is not perfect.

I mean, the sound is great, but i always have a clicking nose in the headphones. Might be just a feeling, but the clicking is moving slighliy a bit from left to right.

adrian-goe commented 1 month ago

Okey, seems to be an in game sound problem for me. I played a bit with the warframe seetings after the installation of dsound and my clicking seems to be an some SFX.

I have dsound as well as faudio, the static/clicking still persists especially with deep bass or loud music playing. Also that rules out my ram theory, I thought if I had more ram the static would disappear
