[Feature]: baldurs gate 3 with steam launcher to use cloud saves. #905

Is your feature request related to a problem?

Baldurs gate 3 only works when steam is not the one launching it and only directly from the exe. However this stops you from being able to load in the cloud saves. I've been playing on my windows computer and recently obtained a mac and wanted to continue playing from my mac seeing whisky as the solution. Yes I could do that from the mac steam launcher, but I would like to be able to play with friends and bg3 doesn't have crossplay enabled.

I would like to be able to use steam cloud saves when playing bg3 w/ whisky

Anything else?

I'm happy to upload any logs or even make any changes to help accommodate this feature request.

Why don't you use BG3 in native mode ? I can load my windows saves via steam cloud saving, and the game works perfectly fine on my Mac Studio M1.
