Maybe using http://quilljs.com/ ?

Looks cool. Would be best to have a spec document describing some exact use cases that we want to support, and then we can more easily assess what parts we build vs use dependencies for. Quill looks good, but hard to know what it does or does not allow us to do!

Ok, beyond Quill, considering Medium & Pen. Going to implement one this week
