Refine project goals

Focus on some things definitely attainable over the next 1-2 years.

High priorities:

• 501c3 filing finalized (gives cool perks like $10k/yr in Google Adwords credit)
• Finalize web template
• Focus on easy, interactive calculators (CHADS2 / APACHE II, etc.)
• H&P Wizard

Lower priority:

• Full physical exam guide
• Board review series / tiny videos?

Reach goals:

• Full videos for individual diseases

+1 on H&P, not sure about calculators (aren't there existing apps that people will be used to using?) Some of the stuff that I've found interesting to observe in just one week, is how people dig into the HPI. I've often seen long descriptions of the kind of stuff you ask, but specific examples are a lot more instructive. For example, in a patient with bleeding gums, the med student on with me asked "How many cups would you fill in an hour of spitting out blood" as a way to assess quantity. Now we can memorize that quantity is something you want to measure, but a tangible example sticks much better with me. So I would say that a HPI wizard alone would be very useful, and the H&P would follow.

+1 on the physical exam guide I think a cartoon of a patient, with hoverable and clickable exam findings would be awesome. We saw someone today in shock that had palmar erythema and very cold fingers, and I could imagine mousing over a cartoon with hands that had palmar erythma, seeing a popover that describes likely causes, and has links to videos/pictures of that finding or links to more info about the diseases associated with that finding, or WHY those diseases cause that finding.
