A small issue #45

I don't think this is a bug but I installed crashes.exe, tried almost everything that I could think of but my FPS is stuck at 91 or basically the standard without crashes installed. The other issue is that I cannot find crashes.cfg so I'm a little confused on how to fix this FPS limit. I'm aware you have to set something in crashes.cfg but I don't know where to find that.

crashes.cfg should be made in your gta sa directory (where you put crashes.asi). if it's not there, it's supposed to automatically be created when you lauch for the first time. If it's not there after running the game once, then it failed to create for some reason (probably some file permission issue - running as admin might make it generate automatically). If you can't figure it out after that, just download the default config (rename the file to crashes.cfg instead of crashes.cfg.txt): crashes.cfg.txt

crashes.cfg_readme.txt

Another note: the FPS limits were disabled by default in the new version because over the years many people have reported that above 100 FPS causes some severe problems and gives many an unfair advantage in litefooting in particular. Many competitive servers don't allow above 100 FPS as a consequence.

Okay thank you. I will try this when I get home in about two hours. Thanks!

It doesn't work. I renamed it to .cfg and .ini nothing works for me. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue or it is just me.
