mesa broken #211

Describe the bug when starting OpenGL app ouput is broken as like stride of the picture do not match

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. execute glxgears

Expected behavior on Ubuntu with mesa-git works as expected

Check with glxinfo -B if it is picking the right GPU. If you only have Intel, try to update the drivers. As last resort you can disable the GPU Acceleration and go software only.

OK, please give me some hours to give you a script that allows you to downgrade to the mesa version of Fedora 38.

Meanwhile you can activate software rendering.

Fresh install of Fedora. After update I started glxinfo and glxgears and was broken right out of the box. IGPU AMD 780, DGPU Nvidia RTX 4700

Mmm I tested with RTX 4060 and everything was right. I'll double-check with the latest drivers

I use studio drivers, but both AMD and NVDIA are broken

Sry I have to mention that I am using pre release WSL 2.0.11. Later today will send you logs an will try to downgrade to current stable 2.0.9

going with export LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 and then export LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=0 made thinks work, so I wonder if this is a WSL bug.

When you run env MESA_D3D12_DEFAULT_ADAPTER_NAME=NVIDIA glxgears doesn't change at all the result?

LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=0 Should not disable the software rendering unless that something change in recent mesa versions
