How can I see the log to have a look what went wrong? @marmarek

In the "Logs & Assets" tab. There is whonixcheck (systemcheck?) output, and then you can also fetch var_log.tar.gz to look for var/log/xen/console/guest-*.log where the whole journal is redirected.

Yes, fully renamed to systemcheck.

Apparently was only a sdwdate timeout (probably Tor network) issue.
