Team's Response

Like the previous issue #4536, there is no real benefit of preventing duplicates for the tag since it still serves its purpose to provide additionally information and does not affect the functionalities of the application. Therefore we reject this issue.

There is no purpose having this restriction to prevent duplicates for tags since it does not affect the functionalities of the application. Tags were meant provide extra information and it does so even with duplicates it still serves its purpose. There is no need to make it unique like the project names for project therefore we reject this issue.

Reason for disagreement: It hinders user experience as they keep seeing multiple similar tags that are supposed to be the same thing. regardless it is not smart to have duplicate tags. it makes reading the tags more troublesome and imagine having 10 tags and 7 of them are duplicates. this will surely ruin users experiences.
