9 months ago @pgarbenis For WikiTraccs to set the Author and Editor of SharePoint pages and files properly the following must be given:
- the SharePoint migration account must be site collection administrator in the target site collection
- the registered Azure AD application must have been granted the following permission scopes:
- Microsoft Graph > Sites.FullControl.All (delegated)
- SharePoint > AllSites.FullControl (delegated)
- a user mapping has to be present, telling WikiTraccs which Confluence account corresponds to which account in Azure AD (now Entra ID) - this is done in the WikiTraccs site, in the user mapping table
Note: User mapping is done in the Confluence User and Group Mapping table in the WikiTraccs site (the same where the Confluence Space Inventory can be found):
The Azure AD account has to be entered into the WT_Setting_MapForDataAndMentions field.
Also check that the user mapping table contains the Confluence users you expect to be mapped. If they are missing, the Confluence migration account might have not enough permissions to retrieve this information.
The user mapping table is populated by WikiTraccs while migrating pages. Every Confluence user that WikiTraccs discovers while migrating is put in there.
There is a dedicated update run built into WikiTraccs, to update Authors and Editors in SharePoint after changing the user mapping:
So the migration flow could be:
- migrate content
- map users in the user mapping table
- start the update run to update Author and Editor fields

The Created by SharePoint attribute is name of person running the migration. Is this because the person who created the Confluence page is no longer with the organization?
