After giving an engagement ring I can't give a wedding ring

Describe the bug So I tried to get married to a guard, after a lot of internet research I finally figured out how to and I decided to wait until after to give her the wedding ring. I made a wedding venue and positioned villagers for it and all that stuff, but when I try to give her the wedding ring she tells me she can't because she's already married, or oh didn't you know I'm already married... I checked and it says she's engaged to me.

Steps to Reproduce Please include steps we can take to reproduce the bug:

1. Create a world that's creative and has cheats on and click on the crystal ball
2. Choose none and spawn your own villagers
3. Get up to five gold hearts with a person of any gender
4. Go to a cleric and ask them to divorce you from all spouses (trust me you have to do this)
5. You have to click on the (rose gold) engagement ring while you gift it to them or else they won't accept it
6. Exact from gift giving mode, then try and give them a (rose gold) wedding ring If this works they should say they can't marry you because they're already married
