Subforum Listing Above Sidebox and Thread List #144

I find it a bit difficult to explain what I mean, so I figured I'd just post an image. example Are subforums meant to be displayed this way, above everything (including the sidebox)? Or is there an option so that I can move the subforum listing in-line with the thread listing (that is, move the sidebox to the top and bump the subforum listing over to the right a bit)? :) To note, I'm still using 2.0.4 as I hadn't noticed the update! As soon as I update to 2.0.5, I'll edit this issue if necessary.

Okay, updated to 2.0.5 just to ensure there were no changes in the newest version. After taking a quick gander in the settings, I presume the default value for "Header Search Text" in forumdisplay.php script settings would have to be modified if I wanted the sidebox to display higher?

Exactly. Just find a different search phrase that handles the sub-forum window better and test. You can even insert an html marker if needed:

<!-- ASB -->

just if there is nothing easy to match (or that you change often).

Thank you for your advice! I ended up changing the edited template to forumdisplay instead of forumdisplay_threadlist so it could be inserted above the subforums (and made appropriate changes in header and footer search texts).

Great!

That was actually how forumdisplay.php was handled in the beginning . . .

I'll close this but don't hesitate to reopen if you need help.
