Hi!

Elpy had good support for refactoring.

However, with version 1.5.0, they are reporting that elpy is going to drop support for refactoring in the future.

Is someone working on Python support? How likely is it that emacs-refactor is going to support Python in the future?

This package is effectively unmaintained these days, so no plans. :)

Any chance to use rope https://github.com/python-rope/rope/ in order to have the Python support?

I'm very open to patches. It might require something similar to anaconda-mode to install the necessary Python dependences.
