Open all with current extension... does not work #28

I have a strange issue in latest Sublime 3, when I try to set "Open all with current extension..." to use C++ Starting Kit/C it does not work and reverts back to default C that comes with Sublime. I think the problem is with the name, just "C" confuses Sublime since pre-installed one is also "C". I think changing the name should fix this problem.

Same problem here, can't find a solution.

Is there a way to disable the native C/C++ syntaxes that are bundled with ST?

Just do as this comment says. And you're done! @kodLite, it would be good if you add this in some FAQ. As, I had this issue today and it took me around 30 mins to fix this issue (and got fixed after checking this comment in the closed issue section)
