More eyecandy for the readme #194

The primary objective of this pull request (PR) is to enhance the readability of the initial section of the README. This is achieved by reducing the number of potentially oversized images and ensuring consistent and visually appealing alignments.

heh, looks like the upscaler smudged things up a bit. I might ask my friend if we want to redraw it but in 3840:2160 px. maybe we'll change the outfit and add some more details too.

Do we want to add the mascot art with this PR as well? Or should we let @honchokomodo open up a new PR for that?

I'm also waiting on a response on how to best credit the artists.
