5 years ago It's an interesting idea, but I don't have any experience with the issue and can't exactly create a page on the subject. I'm willing to take submissions with examples that demonstrate how this can make answering a question accurately and quickly harder.
For many problems, version info about the library being used is very relevant. Trying to reproduce when the version info is missing can be 'pita' (time wise)
A page that discusses this would be great
