disconnecting MFi controllers, stops the touchscreen buttons #215

When I disconnect my MFi controller from my iPad Pro, iOS 10.2.1, I can no longer use any of the touch controls, including the settings buttons, until I reconnect the controller. However, the touchscreen buttons do reappear when I disconnect, I just can't use them.
