iNDS keeps crashing on app start. #222

I downloaded iNDS from ipasigner.io a few days ago and it's been working fine ever since. And randomly whilst I was playing Pokemon Platinum it crashed and now when I start the app it automatically closes. If there's no way to fix it without reinstalling the app is there a way to save my savefiles and transfer them? I have not made any backups of the app or the saves.

As for why the app keeps crashing, my only guess would be that your certificate expired for the app. As for how to recover your save files I would suggest this:

Open iTunes on a computer, go to your device and select apps. Then scroll to and select iNDS. Your save files should be in the "Battery" folder. Scroll down and click "Save to..." then save this folder to your desktop. When you reinstall INDS, simply drag the folder back into the app. If asks you to replace, click yes. This should restore all of your save files.

You could also use this method to transfer all of your ROMs over.
