App crashing or screen going black and not able to play. #259

So I started a new playthrough of SoulSilver and heart gold games and I got a rom and started it up and everything worked prefectures fine I did add a cheat for shiny Pokémon but I didn’t turn it on yet or any cheats. Using the speed up thing to get through the start of the game quickly and got to where I select my first Pokémon, I make a same so I can soft reset to try and get a shiny or female starter like I wanted. After this, I get what I wanted and set off but after the first town where the guy gives you the running shoes the top screen goes completely black and I can’t see anything at all. Then I decided maybe it’s just a weird glitch as I can see stuff when I open menus and stuff but nothing I do fixes it also I save and reset to see if that fixes it and nope it doesn’t even open the game anymore and crashes the app whenever I start to open the rom now. Moving to soul sliver now I do everything by the book no cheats, resets, or speeding up. And the same problem happens again. So I try new ROMS, fresh installs of iNDS, everything even downloading the rom from a completely different website but it always happens no matter what I do.

I'm on iOS 11.3.1 unjailed, iPhone 6s plus.

are you using an emulator on your phone like iNDS?
