HI @maartenmarx,

This is my following to discuss with you:

• Finalize the model phase.
  • Currently, the Regression model to compare Doc2Vec and TF-IDF finished
  • The computer vision VGG16 with NLP BERT is finished.
  • The computer vision VGG16 with LSTM is in progress (plan to finish it on Sunday this week)
  • Finish the validation and compare performance for both VGG16 with BERT and LSTM model (next week)

My main ideas come from this research I want to discuss the final model and your expectation.

• when can I submit my model to the competition board to check my model performance?
• What is the sandbox for the application development?
• I need your help to construct a good research question.
• When will be the final deadline for the thesis? As you noted, the deadline will be the last Friday of June, but it is the 24th of June. Last time, you mentioned we still have 6 weeks left, so it is quite not matched with the 24th June.

Hi Sang,

For submitting your model runs to be evaluated on the leaderboard, you can have a look at the 'SubmitRun' notebook and the 'ExampleSubmitRun' notebooks in the 'Competition' folder on surfdrive.

The gist of it is that you want to fill in the model class in 'SubmitRun' notebook with your model, and then check it it runs properly on the sample data. If this all works out then you can upload your notebook (and possibly your trained model) to a google drive link and I will run your model on the test set.

Could you also send me your email address? That way I can add you to the folder I will create for you on Google Drive.
