Reports of it causing extruder to not work with OctoPrint 1.5.0 #5

Closed foosel closed 3 years ago

We got reports on the community forum that this plugin causes the extruder to no longer work on OctoPrint 1.5.0, see for example https://community.octoprint.org/t/octoprint-1-5-0-gcodeleveling-plugin-caused-extruder-to-stop-working/26952

As that is quite a major issue I'll blacklist the plugin against 1.5.0 for now until this can be investigated here. @Willmac16 if you could look into this that would be great.

@foosel I already have a commit in my devel branch that addresses the issue; however, I will work to get #3 saving the modified file to a copy working so that any future issues can be more easily diagnosed and avoided.

@foosel I published a new release with the fixes.

First of all thank for your work. Configured to save original copy of gcode. I've just installed plugin and loaded matrix of my Z values, but when I upload new gcode, no activity and no original file copy. How do I enable your plugin ?

@dtruffo could you move to issue #6
