Hi,

module does'nt works on Magisk 19+.

Magisk v19.3 Android 9 (June 2019 update)

DessertArbiter commented 5 years ago

it just hasnt been updated in a while, sometime between the module's last update and now, the install script that Magisk looks for was changed from config.sh to install.sh

in the meantime i fixed it https://github.com/DessertArbiter/Volume-Steps-Plus---Magisk-Module/releases/tag/v1.39-fixed

to install, just go into Modules in the Magisk app and tap the + icon

Doesn't on Magisk19+.

But I was install Kernel Auditor with Build prop editor and add ro.config.media_vol_steps.

@DessertArbiter what happened to your fix?

DessertArbiter commented 4 years ago

i couldnt figure out how to get the command working and i wasnt going to maintain it, but i can post a version that at least installs Volume-Steps-Plus---Magisk-Module-v1.39-fixed.zip

its still possible to change the volume steps amount by rebooting if you just installed the module, then editing the system.prop file that should be located in /sbin/.magisk/modules/VolumeStepsPlus, and rebooting again after saving the changes

though ive found that changing the volume steps to be higher than 25 (which is the module's default) makes the volume behave kind of odd on pie
