would be nice if there were the fun little minigames you could play so then you could join with your friends and play the glide minigame or the pvp one

The “Change Skin” menu is a planned addition, as you can see by pressing its button in-game, but the minigames are a tall request, I'm not sure when I will be able to add them

There is a java remake of the battle minigame, but it's in closed alpha right now https://www.legacyminigames.net/

Perhaps for skins, you could add compat for a mod that allows people to change their player models? Two are prevalent right now, being Customizable Player Models and Figura; both are available for both Forge and Fabric. Figura might be the better of the two since it also comes with folder/sorting support and doesn't require a server to have a plugin to allow people to switch skins in multiplayer settings. But if you'd rather do your own approach for custom skins I'd love to see how you'd handle it!

Seconding Figura support, I've been in the process of porting many of the console skin packs to it with accurate armor hiding, crouch, etc; and would be happy to have them be even more authentic in a console-like skin changing menu.
