Location of fields wrong after window resizing

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the preference window (either Windows or Linux tab)
2. Resize the window to have little vertical size (text and fields disappear)
3. Resize the window again to something reasonable or bigger.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is to see the text in front of the fields. Instead the fields 
come first vertically, the text all together below.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
See attached screen shot after resize.

My system is an Ubuntu Linux system with KDE as windows manager.
