WinMerge is an Open Source differencing and merging tool for Windows. WinMerge can compare both folders and files, presenting differences in a visual text format that is easy to understand and handle.
Ctrl-W closes other viewings, but in the hex view of a binary compare it offers to bookmark. This causes an issue when you are in a folder comparison rapidly viewing files with the left hand and want your right hand on Ctrl-W to close the comparison panes you throw up.
I think Ctrl-W should be consistent across the viewers?
