Although there are some restrictions such as Clipboard compare, WinMerge should basically work on Windows 7.

Thanks, do you know the last version of Winmerge that worked with Win 7 without any restrictions?

Thanks, but what I mean is, is there a past version that supports functions on Windows 7 like : Extract and compare text from images using OCR Ability to compare specified URLs or have these never been supported on Win 7?

The above feature uses functionality that is not available in Windows 7, so it has never been usable on Windows 7.
