Might be similar to this. https://github.com/AutoDarkMode/Windows-Auto-Night-Mode/issues/874

@WindowsTablet Do you use WindowTop on a tablet? If so, why do you use WindowTop? I am curious about features that you may find helpful in tablet mode. The app is not intended for tablets, but it may also be a good market. How does it work on tablets in general? I assume that you don't have a physical keyboard.

Do you use WindowTop on a tablet? If so, why do you use WindowTop? I am curious about features that you may find helpful in tablet mode.

I use "Always on Top" to occasionally pin a calculator, or a pin a PDF document with a reference or answer sheet in Drawboard PDF in a very tiny window at the bottom-right corner of the screen, right under my palm when I'm handwriting in OneNote, split-screened with a main PDF textbook or browser snapped to the left in landscape orientation. And top/bottom split-screened when in portrait orientation.

I use "Dark Mode" during the evening and night in apps that don't have a proper dark mode, such as PDF-XChange Editor and LiquidText. It's also useful in MS Journal and MS Whiteboard apps.

How does it work on tablets in general?

I activate the WindowTop toolbar by long-tapping the minimize button or top-left corner of the window (both of which are not reliable with touch), or I hover with the pen over the minimize button (always works reliably).

I assume that you don't have a physical keyboard.

I do have a physical keyboard, but I mostly have it folded backwards or detached from the tablet, until I absolutely need it.

The app is not intended for tablets

I know, like most Windows apps. I admit that touch scrolling in settings for utilities like WindowsTop and AutoDarkMode is not a dealbreaker, since it's mostly set and forget, but it's surprising that it's not enabled by default in modern UI frameworks, since it often works in many decades' old legacy apps.

but it may also be a good market.

There are many Windows touchscreen devices out there.
