Can you add the clearlogo for nintendo 64? Clearlogo from emu movies:

system_logo

There is already a Banner for N64 which is exactly the image you posted. However, you are right in the sense that this image must be the Clearlogo. Estuary AEL either uses the Clearlogo or Banner in the ROM Launcher view so it doesn't matter which one you use.

Many other platforms have incorrect Banners that must be renamed to Clearlogos. I will do this ASAP. For movies/TV series many artwork sites have Banners and Clearlogos clearly differentiated as explained in the link below. However, for emulator platforms what you usually find are Clearlogos. Maybe some user with knowledge of Photoshop/Inkscape apps will produce some Banners once Kodi gets the games database (and hence skinners/artists will devote more attention to game artwork).

PS: I will keep this issue open until I have renamed all Banners to Clearlogos. If you know of a website that has emulator platforms Banners let me know.

Thanks for feedback. I didn't know it was labeled as banner, since I'm not using/checking for banners. 😉 I think emumovies has some banners for certain platforms, but I didn't check them either.

I realised that in TheGamesDB there are proper Banners for a lot of platforms. As soon as possible I will rename the Clearlogos and add the Banners. Will have a look at Emumovies as well... although in Emumovies there are reluctant to share their artwork.

@h3llrais3r I have improved the library a lot yesterday, including lot of banners from RetroPie docs and renamed the former banners to clearlogos.

They have changed TheGamesDB website. Do you now how to view/download platform artwork?

h3llrais3r commented 5 years ago

@Wintermute0110 You mean how to view/download from TheGamesDB? If yes, no sorry, I never used the site...

My mistake. You were talking about emumovies, I was the one who introduced the GamesDB.

OK, this issue is solved now but I will close it once all the platforms in the library have complete artwork (Icon, Fanart, Clearlogo, Banner). Poster is difficult to obtain for some platforms.
