Hacker talks

Code for Hacker talks a Hacker News like lighting talk application implementation.

The code contains 3 root folder:

• schema: The GraphQL API definitions are used to generate basic typescript types and code in both server and client side.
• server: The Typescript Node.js program, based on Apollo GraphQL server and knex SQL library.
• client: The Typescript React web client, based on Apollo React Client and React Router.

For how to run the server and client please refer to the README.md files in each folder.

BTW:

• The unit test for server/client are based on jest. And only few files are tests, because lack of time.
• The git commit for the server and client contains too much changes, I would not have it done like that in a real world project.

Talk List:

• When the user not login: click upvote arrow or login will redirect to login page.
• When the user has logged-in: click upvote arrow will add the vote number if the user has not voted that talks yet.
